AB-Flo SR Tablet is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), where the airflow to the lungs is obstructed. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, helping to widen them and make breathing easier.
AB-Flo SR Tablet should be taken with food, ideally in the evening. To get the most benefit, take it at the same time every day. The dosage depends on your condition, and your doctor will determine how much you need. It’s important to continue taking this medicine for as long as prescribed, even if you feel better. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s close to the time of your next dose—then, skip the missed dose. This medication does not work immediately to stop an ongoing breathing problem, so always carry a rescue inhaler for emergencies.
Common side effects include abdominal discomfort, bloating, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn. If these side effects are bothersome or severe, contact your doctor. Avoid alcohol and smoking during treatment, as these may reduce the effectiveness of the medication.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart conditions, as well as any other medications you are taking, as these could interact with AB Phylline SR 200. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
