Dom Suspension is used to treat indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux disease, nausea, and vomiting in children. It works by increasing the movement of food through the stomach and intestines, thereby relieving bloating, fullness, and gastric discomfort. The suspension should be taken orally in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. The label should be checked for specific instructions before use. A measuring cup should be used to measure the dose accurately. The suspension should be shaken well before use. Dom Suspension is best given half an hour before each meal. If given after meals, its absorption may be affected. For young babies, the doctor may prescribe giving it four times each day. Wait for at least 4 hours between doses and give each dose just before a milk feed. The doses usually vary depending on the child's condition, body weight, and age. The prescribed duration should not be exceeded without consulting the doctor. This medicine may cause some minor and temporary side effects such as dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. Usually, these episodes subside once the child's body adapts to the medicine. However, if these side effects persist or become bothersome, it is important to report them to the doctor without any delay. Before giving Dom Suspension to your child, it is important to inform the doctor about any previous episodes of allergy, heart problem, a blood disorder, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. The doctor should also be aware of your child's entire medical history to make critical dose alterations and plan your child's overall treatment.

In the treatment of Indigestion, Dom Suspension improves the movement of food in the stomach and gut, thus relieving symptoms like bloating, feeling full, and stomach pain. In the treatment of Nausea, Dom Suspension blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick, and it can be used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by some medicines, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. It is also effective in preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation in adults only.
