Gudcef 100 Suspension is an antibiotic commonly prescribed to children for treating a variety of bacterial infections, such as those affecting the ears, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It is also used to treat typhoid fever in children and adolescents. Directions for Use: Administer the medicine one hour before or two hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, it can be given with food. Follow the prescribed dose based on the infection type, severity, and your child's age and weight. If your child vomits or expels the medicine within 30 minutes of taking it, repeat the dose. Do not double the dose if it’s time for the next scheduled one. Do not administer this medicine for cold and flu symptoms, as it is an antibiotic and does not treat viral infections. Common Side Effects: Vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, rash, headache. These side effects are typically mild and temporary, but if they persist or worsen, consult a doctor immediately. Important Considerations: Share your child’s complete medical history with the doctor, including any known allergies, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, lung or gastrointestinal issues, and liver or kidney concerns. This will help the doctor adjust the treatment accordingly.
