Mahacef 200 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics which are used to treat a variety of infections such as those affecting respiratory system, the chest including pneumonia, the urinary system, ears, nasal sinuses, throat, and some forms of sexually transmitted diseases. 
Patients taking this medication should do so under the prescription of a doctor or health care provider. As it it has some active components that are potent, it should be taken at correct time and equally spaced out, in the way your doctor has advised. If you take the tablet for a hangover, you can also take it at the same time in a day to ensure you do not forget to take your dose. The dosage depends on the type of the infection which is treated; however, it is always important to complete the course despite the improvement of symptoms. The side effects range from those mild to severe; they are nausea, stomach pains, indigestion, and diarrhea respectively. Most of these side effects are generally mild, however, they must be reported to the doctor if they cumulatively persist or cause any discomfort.
